Following completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Property Development and Planning, Max Pickett completed his Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) to become a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) and a RICS Registered Valuer at Lambert Smith Hampton.
Upon qualifying, Max focused on development land valuation and financial appraisals before joining Savills’ London Residential Development Team. There, he spent five years specialising exclusively in Financial Viability in Planning, negotiating complex policy requirements across major residential and commercial schemes.

In 2021, Max established Roscoe Group Chartered Surveyors to address a clear gap in the market: providing SME developers with the same high-caliber, evidence-backed viability expertise typically reserved for major corporate PLCs.
Today, Roscoe Group specialises in protecting developer profit margins, unlocking stalled sites, and negotiating deliverable planning permissions with local authorities across London, the Home Counties, and the South East.
